Longtime Oakmont police secretary calls it a career after nearly 30 years of service

Michael DiVittorio | Tribune-Review Oakmont Police Chief Michael Ford commends retiring police secretary Gail Altenburger on her 29-year career with the borough.   TribLIVE s Daily and Weekly email newsletters deliver the news you want and information you need, right to your inbox. Anyone who’s working in a police department or law enforcement field right now has a tough job. There’s a lot of angry people, and a lot of people who need a little bit of compassion.”
