The Shelby County Health Department announced the locations for those ready to receive their second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The locations will service only Shelby County residents who received their first dose between Dec. 28 through Jan. 3, at either the health department building at 1826 Sycamore View Rd., or at Lindenwood Church.
Each location is offering appointments in specific timeframes; those who qualify for the second dose can sign up for their appointment online or call the COVID-19 vaccine hotline at 901-222-7468. The line is staffed from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. seven days a week.
The health department is asking residents to bring their vaccination card received on their first appointment with them.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Distribution locations for the COVID-19 vaccine reopened in Memphis Saturday to long lines and more confusion.
Health officials say it’s critical that everyone sign up for an appointment before getting in line to get vaccinated.
The Shelby County Health Department says COVID-19 vaccinations are available for first responders and others a part of the 1a1 group and people over 75 years old who are part of the 1a2 group.
The Shelby County Health Department opened up vaccinations for more people Thursday. Shelby County is still vaccinating people that fall under Phase 1a1, but starting Thursday, they announced funeral and mortuary workers who currently fall under Phase 1a2 can also begin getting vaccinated.
