The crash happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the T-intersection of County Road 44 and County Road 144 in Lynden Township, the Stearns County Sheriff s Office said. A 911 caller reported hearing tires squealing and then the sound of a loud crash. Deputies on the scene found a 2010 Dodge Ram in the ditch, with the driver 35-year-old Joseph Cleveland of Kimball pinned inside. According to the sheriff s office, he went through a stop sign, kept going eastbound off the roadway, then traveled down into an embankment and slammed into a tree.

Jake Judd (KNSI News) (KNSI) – A man suffered significant injuries after crashing into a tree and getting pinned in a truck in rural Stearns County. The sheriff’s office was called around 10 p.m. on Saturday to a crash with injuries at the T-intersection of County Road 44 and County Road 144 in Lynden Township, near Fairhaven. The caller reported hearing tires squealing and then a loud crash. First responders arrived and found a 2010 Dodge Ram pickup in the ditch. Deputies say 35-year-old Joseph Cleveland was headed eastbound on County Road 44 when he failed to stop at the stop sign. Investigators say the Kimball man went off the roadway, down an embankment, and struck a tree.
