Explaining the objective for the organisation of the meeting to the press, the National Communication Secretary, Denis Nkemlemo said three major things which included the life of the party, the nation and the international scene were discussed during the get-together. CDC to build two palm oil and rubber production plants
(Business in Cameroon) - State-owned agribusiness Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) is currently fine-tuning two projects for the construction of two rubber and palm oil production plants. This is revealed in the call for expression of interests recently issued by the company to recruit a consultant that will carry out the projects’ environmental impact assessment. According to the call, the palm oil production plant will be built in Idenau, in the Southwest, while the rubber production plant will be built in Pendamboko, in the Littoral region.
The launch of the two projects proves that the agribusiness company is gradually recovering from its woes caused by the Anglophone crisis. Indeed, CDC is undoubtedly one of the companies that suffered the most from the ongoing socio-political crisis that started in late 2016 in the Anglophone regions.
Immunisation Days : Stakeholders Mobilises Towards Success
The campaign will run from the 7-10 oMay 2021 and involves children from 0-5 years.

A meeting to ensure success of the campaign took place at the Littoral Governor’s office on 6 May. During the meeting, the Secretary General in the Littoral Governor’s office. Aboubakary Haman Tchiouto called on stakeholders to engage in sensitization so as to get the maximum of children for the vaccination. He said all the 24 health districts in the Region will be fully in charge of the vaccination in their different areas. The government of Cameroon is bent on empowering young people as well as improving their livelihoods. This is evident in the special three year plan programme for youths by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education which is aimed at enhancing civic education, social and economic integration of young people. It aims to achieve this by providing civic and entrepreneurial training, employment and setting up youth businesses.
