UWindsor Launches Vaccination Campaign To Encourage Students To Knock Out COVID

The University of Windsor has launched a COVID vaccination campaign to encourage students to not only get into the ring and “Knock Out COVID,” but to carry the vaccination message to others in the under-25 population around Windsor-Essex County. The KO COVID initiative will team the University with the University of Windsor Students’ Alliance to help students and other young people in the community get the facts and support they need to overcome vaccine hesitancy and access vaccination in the community. The University is working with the  WE-Spark Health Institute and UWindsor researchers to provide expertise, while student mentors will guide, engage, and empower students to protect their health and the health of others in the community.

They work closely with the director to mark down every piece of staging — from where the actors and sets are placed, to the sound and lighting cues. During “tech week,” when a show loads into a theater, they run the rehearsal process to ensure that technical aspects of a production flow smoothly before opening night.
