The under-pressure HSE CEO maintained there was now “strong momentum” behind Ireland s vaccination campaign.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Reid boomed: “Great momentum on vaccinations. Almost 200K done last week (>200K when some data is uploaded). >44K done on Friday. >1.6M done in total. Over 788,000 done through April.”
But the HSE was later forced to clarify Reid’s figures for April after being contacted by the Irish Sun.
