Netflix Showcases ‘Trese’ Anime With New Clip
Netflix tends to cast a wide net when it comes to what they call anime as they’re not as distinct in their meaning as a lot of Western anime fans about it. They have a new project that has come out which was announced back in 2018 called
Trese, which adapts the Filipino comic series of the same name by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo. It began back in 2005 through Alamat Comics and has English distribution through Ablaze Publishing. There are nine collected volumes there.
With a June 11th, 2021 debut, the folks at Netflix have now revealed a new clip from it that comes in at three minutes and showcases various aspects about the lead character and how she operates.
