Poor labourer complains of hurdles in getting CNIC for wife June 29, 2021 TIMERGARA: A poor labourer on Monday demanded the Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad and high-ups of the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) to take notice of the hurdles being created for him in the acquiring of computerised national identity card (CNIC) for his wife. Talking to reporters in Lower Dir district headquarters Timergara, Liaquat Ali, from Batal Usherai in Upper Dir district, said that he was a daily wager working in Timergara and residing in Zulam Pul area for the last three years. “Last week, I visited Mardan along with my wife and children in connection with my wife’s treatment and I faced immense difficulties as my wife had no CNIC,” Liaquat Ali said, adding that on his return from Mardan, he decided to apply for his wife’s CNIC.
