A religious filmmaker best-known for writing and producing the 2016 movie “Eternal Salvation” has been arrested for allegedly gunning down his wife inside their California apartment.

Eternal Salvation, has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of his wife, Gina Gautier.
The 55-year-old filmmaker was arrested and booked on one count of murder on Monday evening, according to the Ventura County Sheriff s Office.
He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
Gina was shot on Monday morning during a domestic dispute at an apartment in Thousand Oaks, California, authorities said.
She was taken to Los Robles Regional Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.

About 10,000 COVID vaccine shots were administered in a week in Ventura County with a total of nearly 30,000 doses expected to have arrived in the region by New Year s.
The first of two doses has been given to health care workers at eight acute care hospitals across the county, officials said. Pharmacies and public health workers were scheduled to begin vaccinating workers and residents at nursing homes and other long-term care facilities across the county as soon as Monday in efforts likely to continue for weeks.
