Estate sale at the historic Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport

GRANITE POINT, Maine – The historic Captain Lord Mansion located in Kennebunkport will be selling off its contents in early January.
Lark Hotels purchased the bed and breakfast inn earlier this year, and plans to make sweeping improvements and renovations and reopen the inn in the spring of 2021.
Little River Antiques & Estate Sales will be handling the liquidation of the contents on Jan. 8 to 10, 2021. A ticketed preview and sales reception will be held at the inn on Thursday, Jan. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Built in 1814, the Captain Lord Mansion is a 6,100+ square foot gracious Federal-style property with historic elegance atop the town’s sloping village green overlooking the Kennebunk River. It is the only AAA Four-Diamond bed and breakfast in Kennebunkport and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
