Service interruptions of the Mexican Tax Administration Service throughout the nation resulted in both the World Trade and Colombia Solidarity bridges expecting heavy traffic, stated the City of Laredo on Monday.
Officials stated that the issues have affected not only Laredo but the entire South Texas border.
After hours with issues, the city updated on Monday night around 8 p.m. that Mexico SAT was back online and traffic had begun to process. However, traffic was expected to still see delays at both the World Trade and Colombia Solidarity bridges.
