Iroquois Falls residents Larry and Donna Porter have that “6/49 feeling,” after winning the guaranteed $1 million prize in the March 17 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
The Porters, both retired, noted they are regular lottery players, with LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX being their favourite games.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with an early April shooting that killed 44-year-old Larry Porter.
In addition to murder, Dean Sutton was charged with attempted murder and a gun charge for the April 2 shooting in the city s Brandywine Village neighborhood.
Wilmington police were called to the 200 block of West 19th St. just after 9 p.m. that night for reports of the shooting.
On scene, police found Porter seriously injured. Paramedics took him to a local hospital, where he died.
Police did not say how they determined Sutton was the suspect. He was arrested Tuesday morning and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $10 million cash bail.
