The gist is that if you are fully vaccinated and have waited at least two weeks after your last shot outdoor activities are safe without a mask as long as you’re alone, with immediate family members or in a small group gathering.

Print For the past few weeks, as vaccinations rolled out across the state and movie theaters reopened, I told myself the first theater I would go back to was the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood. Now it looks like that is not going to happen. Late on Monday, ArcLight and sister chain Pacific Theatres, which together operated some of L.A.’s top cinematic destinations, said they would not be opening their doors after the pandemic.
