Cohasset is looking for a cash infusion to help its small businesses, and plans to build on a Chamber of Commerce program to do so.
The Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) recently began the Regional Pilot Project Grant Program.
According to the MOBD, the program is “seeking partnership proposals from municipalities, public entities, or 501(c) organizations that are federally tax exempt under the Internal Revenue Code and intend to promote regional recovery from the economic impacts of the 2019 novel coronavirus.”
Lauren Lind, Cohasset’s Planning Director, recently gained Select Board approval to submit an application on behalf of the town.
