Vermilion RCMP seize drugs, money, weapons and stolen trailer SHARE ON: A photo of the seized items. [RCMP, supplied.] The Vermilion RCMP says four people are in custody after a bust in Vermilion recovered numerous allegedly illegal or stolen items. On July 29th, officers pulled over a truck and travel trailer during a routine check-stop on Highway 16  in Minburn County. During the stop, officers determined that the licence plate did not match the trailer. As such, a search was initiated. During the search, the driver and the passenger took off on foot into a wooded area. To assist in the search, officers from Vermilion, Vegreville and police dog squads from Cold Lake and St. Paul were brought in. The two suspects, along with two others found inside the trailer, were all arrested.
