Lambton provincial police issued some advice Tuesday about what the public should do if they see a bear following recent reports of sightings in the Lambton Shores area.
Const. Jamie Bydeley said the OPP has received only one report in recent weeks, a bear that was seen overnight June 3 on Robert Avenue in Lambton Shores.

The main point of contact for bear sightings is Ontario’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, which operates a toll-free Bear Wise reporting line at 1-866-514-2327, Bydeley said.
