Bengaluru: On the first day of vaccination of frontline staff, out of a target of 87,105, only 22%, i.e. 18,763 were inoculated.
35,000 recipients from the home department, rural development and panchayat raj and revenue department are on the frontline staff list in the city to get inoculated. Kamal Pant, Bengaluru police commissioner, DGP & IG Praveen Sood, ADGP CID Umesh Kumar and ADGP Amrit Paul got inoculated here yesterday at Vidhana Soudha.

He was addressing a gathering of apprentices of the 22nd batch of the Police Training School and the second batch of prison woman warder during the passing-out parade in Dharwad on Monday. Mr. Suhas said that those serving in the department required to be strong physically and emotionally and they should also have the mental ability to handle any sort of situation.
