Staff photo by David Bean As Central Texas Electric Cooperative crews and additional teams work to restore power, Llano County Judge Ron Cunningham issued a disaster declaration for the county. Cunningham reported that approximately 86 percent of Llano County homes were without power as of 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, affecting more than 12,000 residents. A bulk of the outages are in eastern Llano County. He added in a media release that there’s no indication that power to some of these home will be restored within 24 hours.

Photo courtesy of the Office of Governor While waiting on the COVID-19 vaccination, Horseshoe Bay officials are reminding people that testing for and treatment of the disease are still good tools available for curbing its spread.  Along with continued rapid testing at the Horseshoe Bay Central Fire Station, infusion treatments are available for area residents through the Capital Area of Texas Regional Advisory Council in Austin, announced Horseshoe Bay Fire Chief Brent Batla.

It sits on a 133-acre site.
