(AP Photo/Ted S. Warren)AP Facebook Share CLEVELAND, Ohio The Browns have signed defensive tackle Malik McDowell, the team announced. McDowell was originally selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. McDowell is a former five-star recruit who played college football at Michigan State. He was named second-team All-Big Ten in 2016 and finished his three-year college career with 7.5 sacks and 24.5 tackles for loss. McDowell has yet to play in a game in his NFL career. He was involved in an ATV accident prior to his rookie training camp and was placed on the reserve/did not report list. He eventually reported on August 3, 2017, and was placed on the non-football injury list.
