BRYAN, TX â Life is being brought back into The Queen Theatre in Downtown Bryan all thanks to a two-week movie screening event.
On Friday, March 5, the Queen Theatre Film Society will be showing the movie âWhip Itâ in its partnership with the Brazos Valley Roller Derby, and the City of Bryan.
âThis Friday, first Friday, weâre showing âWhip itâ at the Queen. The Queen is going to open its doors for the first time since the COVID pandemic,â said Alex Garza, President of The Queen Theatre Film Society.
Mr. Segal was previously Vice President of Asset Management for Pebblebrook. Before joining Pebblebrook in 2018, he was a director with LaSalle Hotel Properties. He has a B.S. from The School of Hotel Administration of Cornell University.

A daily rise in COVID-19 cases has slowed the growth of the Texas economy, with some feeling the effects more than others.
âWhere we see the negative impact is on the service sector. So face-to-face businesses that, you know, rely on people physically being present are the business that are most hurt, and thatâs the consumption thatâs most negatively affected by the resurgence of the virus,â said Pia Orrenius, the Vice President and Senior Economist with Dallas FED.
