Monmouth County reported 234 new COVID-19 cases and 14 additional deaths from the coronavirus over the last week. Case numbers continue to decline, falling to half the rise in cases last week as they nearly did the week before that.
The new cases and deaths bring the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Monmouth County since March 2020 to 66,978 and the confirmed death toll to 1,467, according to the state Department of Health. Probable cases and deaths number 7,972 and 143, respectively.

NEW JERSEY New Jersey has launched a new online dashboard that tracks coronavirus vaccinations town-by-town, officials announced on Monday

The charts posted on the state s website track how many adults have received one dose of a vaccine, and how many have been fully vaccinated in each town across the state, by percentage, Gov. Phil Murphy said during a news conference.
It can also be broken down by age group, including 18-and-older and 65-and-older, Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said. Each town is shaded, with towns that have higher vaccination percentages being shaded the darkest.
