The Blue Monday Concert Series returned today with a benefit concert for a local cancer patient.
A number of musicians turned out today to raise funds for cancer treatments for Patricia âTishaâ Childress, wife of KBON 101.1 Radio personality, Hoss Childress.
The open-air concert and lunch service happened in the courtyard of The Grouse Room in Downtown Lafayette.
The show was sponsored by Lafayette Roofing & General Contractors, and adhered to current COVID-19 safety guidelines.
The line-up included Marc Broussard, Anthony Dopsie, Cedric Watson, Ray Boudreaux, Roddie Romero, and special guests Sarah Russo, Sharon Thomas, and brothers Lane Mack and Billy Mack.

The Blue Monday Concert Series will return this week, on Sunday, February 28.
This week s event will be a benefit concert to raise funds for cancer treatments for Patricia âTishaâ Childress, wife of KBON 101.1 Radio personality, Hoss Childress.
The open-air concert and lunch service will take place from 1 -5 p.m. in the courtyard of The Grouse Room in Downtown Lafayette.

Acadiana Drive-In Holiday Special Set for Dec. 19 at Cajundome
The Cajundome is helping us get in the holiday spirit with another Acadiana Drive-In night in its parking lot.
The Acadiana Drive-In Holiday Special, presented by Lafayette Roofing & General Contractors, will take place on Saturday, December 19th at the Cajundome parking lot.

The event will feature a holiday market with a variety of local craft and artisan vendors, and a Holly Jolly Photo Booth for family pictures. Kids will be able to take a ride on the Cajundome Polar Express Train, stop by the North Pole Outpost for hot chocolate, cold drinks and food, along with more family-friendly fun from the Schoolhouse Animal Safari.
