A probable-cause statement says on May 10, a 13-year-old girl alleged to the Lafayette County Department of Family Services that 18-year-old Caleb Michael Ingalls had been raping her. She also alleged Ingalls had assaulted her by throwing her to the ground and stomping on the side of her head, causing an injury that was treated at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Ingalls told authorities that regarding the alleged rape, the girl had seduced him, and the sex was consensual. And regarding the alleged assault, he said the girl had kicked him in the groin first.
