LOWVILLE — A man who has threatened violence despite victim protection by a court order on multiple occasions since 2017 has allegedly violated another protection order.
LOWVILLE â A routine traffic stop led to misdemeanor DWI charges for a Lyons Falls man on Monday afternoon.
Timothy A. Gorczyca, 61, of Center Street, was charged by the Lewis County Sheriffâs Office with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Mr. Gorczyca was pulled over by sheriffâs deputies on Cherry Street when they smelled alcohol and saw an open Keystone Ice beer in the center console, according to the sheriffâs office.
After failing field sobriety tests, Mr. Gorczycaâs blood alcohol content, or BAC, was found to be 0.12% when he was tested at the county Public Safety Building.
Glenfield- George Richard Cataldo, 90, formerly of Pine Grove Road and husband of Theresa, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Folts Rehabilitation Center and Nursing Facility, Herkimer. He went to Lyons Falls Elementary and High Schools and graduated in 1948. He had a long and varied life and remarked many times in recent years that he had lived a very good life, met lots of people, and he learned from everyone he met.
