We asked the 50-year-old actress and former Eastenders star what her younger self would make of her life now

I had an east London upbringing in Essex; pie and mash and jellied eels. Mum would run a taxi service taking me to dance classes, clubs and netball; whatever made me feel good. I went to Sylvia Young Theatre School but was never allowed to go full-time. My parents were right that if you hone in on one skill, then you’re shutting yourself off from everything else that you might want to do. I did my school exams and, at 16, I went to do three years at the London Studio Centre. It was the time of my life.

Blood & Truth was a moderately short but completely exciting experience in PSVR that manages to receive mostly positive reviews from fans and media. The game brought some first-person action-packed, high-octane scenes to VR with brilliant visuals. Now, it seems the same team is hard at work to bring a new experience to PS5.
According to the LinkedIn page of London Studio’s VFX Lead, he is working on a PS5 game, but no further details have been provided around the new project yet. It’s yet to be seen whether it would be a VR-only experience on PS5 or a brand new IP with non-VR gameplay hitting Sony’s 9th-gen console.
