Expendables 3 plane lands at Luxembourg Airport RTL|Update: 24.12.2020 10:58 © Luxairport A rather peculiar plane landed at Luxembourg airport on Tuesday: the one used by Sylvester Stallone in the film The Expendables 3 .
While Stallone himself has not come to the Grand Duchy to carry out some over the top, adrenaline fuelled mission with his gang of elderly action heroes, his plane has in fact landed at Luxembourg Airport on Tuesday.
The plane is a Soviet model intended for military transport. It is more than 23 metres long and has a wingspan of almost 30 metres. It was produced between the 60s and 80s (the Antonov An-26). The first model of this type made its maiden flight in 1969.

RTL|Update: 22.12.2020 16:35 On Tuesday morning, Minister for Mobility and Deputy Prime Minister François Bausch was a guest on RTL Radio.
In regard to the coronavirus, the Deputy Prime Minister stated that the main issue was to find a balance, something which was not easily achieved. On the one hand, the government has to prevent as much suffering as possible and relieve healthcare professionals, and on the other hand it has to be careful not to excessively restrict individual liberties.
However, the virus should not be the sole focus, Bausch explained, it is important to consider the overall picture. According to the Deputy PM, it cannot be ignored that every citizen s individual liberties are considerably restricted.
