On Tuesday, Priscilda Gallegos spotted a photo of a tropical funnel cloud near Portland. The funnel was visible from both the Portland and Sinton areas. Wednesday morning began on an interesting note for those in Flour Bluff. A funnel cloud was reported by a Coastal Bend Weather Watcher, seen forming near SPID and Waldron Road. Another sighting from Coastal Bend Weather Watcher Tony Keith actually captures waterspout churning up the waters of the Laguna Madre!

Few more t-showers tomorrow then drying out Hazy, hot and humid weather this weekend and last updated 2021-07-21 18:45:28-04 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â The tropical moisture, light winds and unstable air led to a few more tropical showers Wednesday. Conditions were favorable for tropical funnel clouds and one actually touched down over the Laguna Madre this morning which is called a waterspout since it was over water. Tropical funnels rarely touch down and when they do, are usually weak and do very little damage. T-showers which developed through the afternoon in our inland areas will end this evening but a few more showers will be possible along the coast by early Thursday.
