In two appearances this weekend, Jimenez has walked seven batters. He’s gotten three outs.
The frustrating thing is that Jimenez hasn’t been overly wild. In fact, he’s missed a few calls by just inches. Even on Saturday, when he walked four batters, he got to two strikes on all four of them.

It’s a good bet that Spencer Turnbull will be on the mound on Tuesday or Wednesday when the Detroit Tigers return home from a 10-game road trip to play the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Tigers manager A.J. Hinch wasn’t quite ready to commit to Turnbull’s imminent return, but he said it was safe to write it “in pencil.”
