Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir: In a major success, the
security forces have busted a terrorist hideout in Jammu and Kashmir s Reasi district and recovered a massive cache of arms and ammunition, the officials said.
The Jammu and Kashmir police and the Army launched a joint search operation based on the information disclosed by a terrorist associate, identified as Reyaz Ahmed, 21.
He was apprehended from Mahore town. On interrogation in the presence of the executive magistrate, Ahmed disclosed that he has hidden a cache of arms and ammunition in a hideout located between Makhidhar and upper Shikari ridge of Mahore tehsil.

Reasi (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], February 24 (ANI): A helicopter carrying Jammu and Kashmir Rural Development Secretary Sheetal Nanda made an emergency landing at Jyotipuram town in Reasi on Wednesday.
The helicopter was en route to Kishtwar but was forced to make an emergency landing due to a technical problem, officials said.
All passengers on-board are safe, they added.

"These war-like stores were spread over a large area in remote, uninhabited forests of Makkhidhar. Persistent and coordinated efforts of joint search by Army and police duly supported by local intelligence units has led to successfully unearthing the huge cache of weapons and war-like stores," he said.
