Reps. Jim Jordan, Ken Buck Demand Amazon Release Censorship Docs
On Thursday, Ranking Members of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Ken Buck, R-Colo. sent a letter to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos calling out the many instances of the company’s censorship of conservatives, as well as requesting Bezos turn over documents pertaining to such activity.
“Big Tech, including Amazon, is engaged in systematic viewpoint-based discrimination. In the unfortunate phenomenon of ‘cancel culture,’ Amazon plays a leading role in silencing and censoring the political speech of conservative Americans,” the letter states. “In just the last several months, Amazon has exhibited a pattern of curtailing, censoring, and removing from its platforms content that espouses conservative viewpoints.”

Liberal billionaire Jeff Bezos s behemoth online retailer Amazon is receiving fierce criticism after announcing it would no longer sell books that it says frame transgender and other sexual identities as mental illnesses.
