How I Turned My Hallway Into a Dining Room

How I Turned My Hallway Into a Dining Room Food52 13/01/2021 © Provided by Food52 I am utterly devoted to taking dinner in the living room. I turn the TV on, let my meal grow cold by the time I find the perfect show, and hunch over the coffee table to spoon pasta in my mouth, eyes glazed over. It’s not the most refined picture, no, but it’s worked quite well for me so far. I think the main reason I’ve never liked sitting at the table to eat by myself is because I’ve never had a kitchen or dining room I loved.

New Year's Eve, New Year's Day 2021 store hours: When retailers close

USA TODAY Whether you need groceries or want to pick up a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the end of a trying year and welcome 2021, take note. Many stores will close early Thursday hours before the ball drops and have limited hours Friday for New Year’s Day. Unlike Christmas, many more national chains are open but a few major retailers – Aldi, Trader Joe’s, Costco and Sam’s Club – will be closed Friday. These stores were also closed on New Year’s Day 2020. This year Best Buy stores are closed on New Year’s Day but open for curbside pickup.
