Whitlock High School’s reluctant biology teacher Jack Carson Griffin (It’s Always Sunny’s Glenn Howerton) returns for a third season of this gentle comedy on the goings-on of the world of public schooling in small-town America. We open with Jack plotting revenge, with the help of his willing students, on the manufacturers of a disappointing popcorn maker he has ordered, while principal’s secretary Helen (Paula Pell) goes back to education to get her high school diploma, sparking chaos in her boss Principal Durbin’s (Patton Oswalt) office.

It’s Cake Week for our amateur kid bakers, and in their first technical challenge the group have to undertake an intricate construction that will reveal a pattern when cut into, as well as putting together a cupcake showstopper themed for someone they love. Judges Liam Charles and Ravneet Gill taste the results.
TWO county bakers have been given the opportunity to show off their skills on Channel 4’s junior version of The Great British Bake Off. Junior Bake Off sees youngsters aged between nine and 15 enter the famous tent to show off their baking skills. Junior Bake Off starts with 16 contestants competing in two separate week-long heats. Each heat will feature eight bakers who will face Technical Bakes and Showstopper challenges. Only the best will get through to the third and final week, having put their cake, biscuit, bread and pastry-making skills to the test. In the first heat are Worcestershire wonders, Charlie and Erin.
The Pembrokeshire Murders

Luke Evans stars in this harrowing three-parter telling the true story of serial killer John Cooper’s eventual conviction in 2011 for historic murders, owing to pioneering DNA evidence. In tonight’s opener, Det Supt Steve Wilkins (Evans) returns to Pembrokeshire and is stunned to discover a number of unsolved murders on the books – with the prime suspect being local burglar Cooper (Keith Allen). Wilkins rushes to gather enough evidence to convict before Cooper is released on parole. Continues nightly until Wednesday.

The former Great British Bake off contestant Liam Charles returns to judge the latest series of the bitesize Bake Off competition, with new addition pastry chef Ravneet Gill and co-hosting duties by the enthusiastic Harry Hill. Eight hopefuls enter the tent, tasked with making a sponge and jelly concoction, as well as a fantasy cake themed around their wildest dreams.
