Pensioner s body found in Valencia

The body of a 75-year-old Carapo man was found in Valencia on Wednesday morning. Police said members of the Sangre Grande Municipal Police were on mobile patrol on the Valencia Old Road near the RC Church at around 8.05 am when they found the body of Anthony La Fon. His wallet and cellphone were found nearby. A district medical officer was called in and found that there were no marks of violence on the body, so it is believed La Fon died of natural causes. No post-mortem was ordered.
