Remember the fallen, honor those who serve, teach our children the value of freedom.
National Wreaths Across America Day, a movement to cover all veterans’ graves with a Christmas wreath, was celebrated Saturday afternoon at Roselawn Cemetery.
The event started off with a ceremony flyover by L3 Harris Aviation at noon, and was followed by remarks by Roselawn Cemetery Executive Director Rudy Krasovec and Ray Brown M.C.
“This year, across the country at more than 2,200 participating locations like Roselawn, there are millions of Americans gathering safely as one nation to remember, honor, and teach,” Brown said. “We are all proud to be Americans that live in a free society, made up of many people from all walks of life.”
