A HEREFORDSHIRE fish and chip shop has once again been named one of the UK s top 50. The Fiddlers Elbow Fish & Chips in Rosemary Lane, Leintwardine, is the only chippy in the county to make the prestigious list this year, and the owners are delighted. The award follows a search by trade publication Fry Magazine to find those takeaways serving up the finest fish suppers. Work is under way to bring a new veterinary practice to Colyton.
The business - called Jurassic Vets – will occupy part of the old Colyton Town Mill in Rosemary Lane and will serve the town, Seaton, Axminster and surrounding areas. It is expected that it will open for this summer.
Peter Martin of Jurassic Vets said: “This will not be just a branch practice but a fully-equipped ‘sister’ surgery to our Sidmouth practice.
“Overlooking the River Coly in two units of the beautifully-restored and historic Colyton mill, cat owners will enjoy relaxing in a separate feline-only waiting area and consultation room, while all pet owners will love the reserved on-site parking and the beautiful riverside location, with spectacular views over the Axe Valley.”
