Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness presents the work of artist Carol Long. Carol was recently featured in DNACA’s Juried Art Show, and her nature-themed exhibit is now on display at the Del Norte Courthouse through June 17. Creative Writing for Veterans and their Families
Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness presents Creative Writing with teaching artist Billie Ruth Furuichi. Classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays through June 10, from 1 - 2 p.m. via Zoom. Each week, participants will discuss different writing styles, and share prompts and ideas for students as they create their own works. All levels, including beginners, are welcome. This program provides arts workshops at all 33 state prisons as a way to reduce recidivism rates and prevent violence within prisons.
