Senior Fellow and Director of Research Ross Harrison is a senior fellow and director of research at the Middle East Institute. He is also on the faculty of the Political Science Department at the University of Pittsburgh, where he teaches courses in “Middle East Politics” as well as “U.S. Foreign Policy Towards the Middle East”. He was on the faculty of the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University from 2004-2020, where he held the title of Professor in the Practice of International Affairs.  He annually teaches a course on strategy and international security to senior Georgian government officials at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies in Tbilisi, Georgia, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Aside from publishing numerous articles on regional dynamics in the Middle East in journals like Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy and The National Interest, Harrison authored
