Kenworth seeks to build test facility at its Chillicothe campus
CHILLICOTHE- Kenworth Truck Company announced its intention to build a new test track facility on the northern side of its Chillicothe campus Monday.
A new 110,000-foot, $45 million building would allow the company to test new trucks, said plant manager Chris Davis at Monday s county commissioner s meeting. Currently, this function is done either inside the current facility or out in the weather, and they want to put everything under the same roof, said Tammy Eallonardo, director of Economic Development for Greater Chillicothe and Ross County Development.
Along with taking weather conditions out of the testing scenario, it will also free up space in the current facility, creating additional room to expand products or to change procedures.
Mountain Health Arena brings in Rapid Fired Pizza as new vendor
HUNTINGTON â ASM Global-managed Mountain Health Arena announced last week a new concession stand featuring Rapid Fired Pizza.
Rapid Fired Pizzaâs cheese, pepperoni and sausage individual-size pizzas will be available at the arena starting April 19, the first day of the West Virginia High School Wrestling State Championships, according to April Bias, director of marketing and sales for Mountain Health Arena.
âWeâre really looking forward to partnering with our new neighbors and selling their handcrafted pizzas. We think our patrons will be very excited to have this new option available inside the arena,â Bias said.

OX-B’s is a recently-established restaurant company that utilizes the concept of creating its establishments out of shipping containers that are pre-fabricated by IRR. The restaurant has expanded over the past couple years as a result of changing consumer preferences and the popularity of their product, creating additional demand for IRR.
