Rollstone Bank & Trust reopens branch lobbies after COVID-19 closures

Leominster Champion Rollstone Bank & Trust has reopened its branch lobbies to walk-in customers, after several months of being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Branch lobbies at six of Rollstone’s locations (including at 721 Central St. in Leominster) will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon. Drive-Up windows will open at 8:30 a.m. daily and close at the same time as the lobbies. The Monument Square branch in downtown Leominster will remain closed. “We are excited to take yet another step to getting back to our normal operations, welcoming our customers into our branches,” said Martin F. Connors Jr., president and CEO of Rollstone Bank & Trust. “Banking is about relationships and face-to-face interactions really help build our partnership with our customers. For 175 years RBT has been here for the people and businesses of the region, and we are really looking forward to meeting with them in person once again.”

Or are people saving more than ever out of worry or survival?  Image Brian McEvoy, senior retail banking officer at Webster Five Cents Savings Bank
