The incident happened last night (Thursday) near 14th Street and Minnesota Avenue. The man said he needed the police’s help because his 11-year-old daughter had been threatened at a convenience store. Christopher Wilson, 33, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and disorderly conduct. Police say there are better ways of getting their attention, such as calling 911 or waving if you need help. A Sioux Falls man was surprised by a person rummaging in his car and was threatened with a knife yesterday afternoon.
