FLORHAM PARK, N.J. At various points during the 2021 NFL draft, New York Jets officials were seen hugging and high-fiving on video released by the team. They weren t the only ones excited.
Often questioned on their draft-day decisions, the Jets received high marks from draft experts on their three-day performance. It was one of the best in recent memory, according to Scouts Inc., which evaluates drafts prospects for ESPN.com.
The Jets drafted three players with a grade of 90 or above, something that had not been done since the 2008 Miami Dolphins. Scouts, Inc. has been grading players since 2004. The only other time a team pulled a 90-hat trick was the 2005 Dolphins.

CLEMSON, S.C. â A historic draft for Clemson that started with the first No. 1 pick in program history on Thursday concluded Saturday with the fifth-round selection of Cornell Powell by the Kansas City Chiefs with the No. 181 overall pick. Powellâs selection gave Clemson five total picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.

CLEMSON, S.C. Clemson added another chapter to its NFL Draft history on Thursday evening, as the Jacksonville Jaguars selected quarterback Trevor Lawrence No. 1 overall and running back Travis Etienne No. 25 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence became the first No. 1 overall pick in Clemson Football history, and the selections made Lawrence and Etienne the first quarterback/running back duo selected from the same school by the same team in the first round the Common Draft era (since 1967).

The 2021 NFL Draft is almost upon us! It s without question the biggest event of the league s offseason, as the next in line of potential superstars will have their names called in Cleveland, Ohio. Success or failure in drafts all comes down to statistics these days, as the emergence of fantasy football has put a bigger emphasis on the numbers. And what are every NFL team and fantasy fan looking to avoid in the draft?

NOGLE:
I really considered looking linebacker or edge rusher here, and that could very easily be the move Miami makes. In most of my projections, I have the Dolphins looking toward Javonte Williams as their running back pick later in the draft, but I feel like, the way this board has fallen, Harris makes sense here.
Miami now has added weapons both in the passing game with Kyle Pitts at pick No. 6 and in the backfield here with Harris. If Miami can add a top-end running game to a passing attack that should be pretty good with DeVante Parker, Will Fuller, Preston Williams, Jakeem Grant, Mike Gesicki, and Pitts, they will have all the pieces in place for Tua Tagovailoa to succeed.
