Isuzu UK has named Welsh franchised retailer David Taylor Garages as its Dealer of the Year 2021 as it celebrated the “talent and expertise across its growing UK network” with a string of awards presentations.
Last week the 4x4 specialist brand revealed its plans to expand its UK retail network by 10 sites in 2021 as it prepared for growth resulting from the imminent launch of the new D-Max pick-up.
But before gathering momentum with the new addition to dealership, it handed out awards to high-achieving operators who topped 18 categories, recognising a wide range of services, from customer care and finance to accessory and fleet sales.

I’m guessing the response among the public was positive as the Texas Nationalist Movement website crashed due to traffic. Democrats have been making a lot of noise lately about “protecting democracy.” What’s more “democratic” than this referendum where Texans are given an opportunity to practice self-determination? It will be interesting to watch Democrats squirm while trying to justify voting against it. I predict they’ll fall back on their usual standby excuse- “It’s racist!” Wish us luck!

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Jan. 15, 2021 PreTel, Inc., a rapidly emerging private Femtech company focusing on improving the lives of expectant mothers and women in labor, has appointed Mark A. Samuels as Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Mr. Samuels has extensive experience in the medical device sector and served as President and CEO of OBMedical Company from 2016 to 2018 prior to its acquisition by Phillips Medical. OBMedical’s products included an FDA cleared, wireless electrode-based maternal-fetal monitor for measuring labor contractions and fetal heart rate. Covid has taken a bite out of a Norwegian holiday tradition. Lutefisk is the focal point of many Norwegian community celebrations here in the Northwest, including Seattle, with its large Scandinavian population. But most of those events, including one in Spokane, were cancelled this fall.
For Norwegians like Lois McKinnell, lutefisk is one of the things that most reminds them of their ancestral home.
To a non-Norwegian, it might sound gross. Lutefisk is codfish dried in lye and reconstituted for eating. It’s an acquired taste.
“I actually do like it when it’s prepared properly. It’s great. If you like cod, you’ll like lutefisk, she said.
