Spring may be approaching, but Minnesota winters can sneak back with force. Settle in with a couple books from Minnesota authors until the weather really warms up. Nils by Ingri and Edgar Parin d Aulaire
This children s book about self-acceptance, originally published in 1948, will transport older (and younger) readers decades back in time to a possibly familiar place.
Nils, a boy growing up in the U.S. with his Norwegian immigrant parents, must learn to accept his family’s culture as well as his own interests.
