22-Year-Old Concord Man Arrested, Charged With Murder In Kannapolis Homicide Case

A 22-year-old Concord man has been arrested and charged with murder after a woman was fatally shot at a Kannapolis convenience store Sunday afternoon.
The Kannapolis Police Department responded around 1 p.m. to Lane Street Express. Upon arrival, officers located 24-year-old Lena Morgan, of Concord, with a gunshot wound. Police say she was pronounced dead at the scene.
After an investigation, investigators learned that the incident was a drive-by shooting that happened in the parking lot of the store. According to police, they were able to get a lead and identify the suspect in the homicide case as Nolan Kiel Graves.

LAFAYETTE, La (press release) – Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its clinics on Heymann Boulevard in Lafayette and Wright Avenue in Crowley.
Both of these clinics opened on April 1, 2011, when CIS began a partnership with Lafayette General Medical Center. CIS has provided cardiovascular care to the Acadiana region for the past 30 years and currently has a total of nine locations in the region.
“These 10 years have brought so much growth, for our clinics and for this community,” said Dr. Wade May, who has practiced at CIS since 2009 and been in this area from the beginning. “The care that we’ve been able to provide just keeps getting better.”
