Only the ‘garbha griha’ will be accessible to pilgrims, temple complex will be ready by 2024-25
AYODHYA: With BJP planning to catapult Ram temple to the centrestage of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, construction of the temple is being undertaken on a war footing to erect the garbha griha (sanctum sanctorum) by 2023 and shift idols of Ram Lalla, Sita and Laxman there from the temporary structure, where it’s currently housed.
The garbha griha will be thrown open to pilgrims across India and the world for ‘darshan’, keeping at least a six-month buffer before Lok Sabha polls to enable BJP to drum up the temple fervour and deliverance of its decades-old promise.

The sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple of Lord Ram, which is being built in Uttar Pradesh (UP) s Ayodhya, will be opened for devotees for worshipping the child deity, or Ram Lalla, by the end of 2023, reports

Meanwhile, the construction of the entire 70-acres ampus of the temple will be completed by the end of 2025 as per the details shared by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust s general secretary Champat Rai.
Rai made the announcement after a meeting of the 15-member trust with engineers and architects. The said meeting was chaired by trust chief Nripendra Misra.

Ayodhya, July 16 : The Ram temple in Ayodhya will open to devotees for worship by the end of 2023.
Construction in the entire 70-acre campus will be completed by the end of 2025, said office-bearers of the trust overseeing the project.
Champat Rai, general secretary of the trust, said, By the end of 2023, the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple will be opened for devotees to offer prayers to Ram Lalla.
