Both employed in advertising and marketing, their work went remote in March, so they moved their family here from New York City. After the summer, knowing their workplaces would stay closed through January, they found the uncertainty of the school district in the city too difficult. They made the decision to enroll their daughter, Myla, in second grade at the Shelter Island School and their son Hammy in the Pre-K-4 class.

In court, the charges against them may be reduced or withdrawn or the defendants may be found not guilty. Summonses Jesus Epifanio Velasquez Tipaz of Riverhead was driving on North Ferry Road on Dec. 9 when he was stopped by police and ticketed for having non-transparent side windows. He was also given a summons for unlicensed operation. On Dec. 12, Amos Goodman of East Hampton was ticketed for driving at a speed not reasonable and prudent on South Ferry Road. Mathew Mortillo of Greenport was stopped by police on Dec. 14 on Ram Island Road and given a summons for making an insufficient turn signal. He was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree.

Weather Service: Sunny Tuesday, but storm on its way tomorrow

Labrozzi) Today will be sunny, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), with a high temperature of about 38 degrees. A northwest wind of 13 to 15 mph will make it feel more like 20 or 30 degrees throughout the day. Tonight the NWS is calling for partly cloudy skies with a low around 22 degrees, and a north wind from 8 to 10 mph bringing wind chill values between 15 and 20 degrees. Tomorrow, however, the East End will be bracing for a nor’easter.
