Following three unchallenged years as the planet s richest person, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos was recently knocked off the top spot by Elon Musk, whose fortune was just a quarter of his seven months ago. Thanks to his electric car company Tesla, Elon Musk is now officially the world’s richest man, boasting a net worth of more than $194 billion (£143 billion). His staggering wealth has swelled by $150 billion in only 12 months, making Mr Musk now $11 billion richer than Mr Bezos.

“The official accounting of the DPRK’s imports castle under-represents the volume of refined petroleum products that actually enter the DPRK.”
The 43 countries also urged the committee to call on states to “immediately exercise enhanced vigilance regarding the DPRK attempting to procure additional refined petroleum products and to prevent illicit ship-to-ship transfers of refined petroleum products to vessels owned, controlled, or acting on behalf of or working in cooperation with the DPRK.”

When it comes to regional conflicts, many nations are wary of potential moves made by either Russia and China, with the two countries embroiled in their respective conflicts. With fears of a possible world war 3 on the rise, German media has reported that both countries are developing their own hypersonic arms.
According to German news outlet Die Welt journalist Gerhard Hegmann, Moscow and Beijing are already developing hypersonic weapons. This is the latest in the “spiral of threats” made to European security by Russia and China. Hegmann cited a previous incident that took place in the US military base in Ramstein, Germany, that showed how dangerous Russia’s arsenal would be. Hegmann explained that the base was informed of the Russian military’s intercontinental ballistic missile test and added that even if the US is prepared for potential threats, it would be almost impossible to deter a hypersonic weapon.
