Mumbai, May 17 : Amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, the Indian art community has united to raise funds to assist with the ongoing relief efforts through Art Rises for India , a 24-hour online fundraiser auction hosted by Saffronart from May 19-20.
According to a statement from the auction house, Art Rises for India features over 120 works of modern and contemporary South Asian art, all of which have been generously donated by artists, gallerists, collectors, and patrons to support the cause.

Earlier last year, actor Vishnu Vishal had hinted about a sequel to his superhit film Ratsasan directed by Mundasupatti fame Ramkumar. He had questioned the young director if their next film together after Mundasupatti and Ratsasan will be Mundasupatti 2 and Ratsasan 2 . The latest is that the duo will join hands for Ratchasan 2 .
While director Ramkumar is expected to start his film with actor Dhanush, he has already discussed about Ratchasan 2 with Vishnu Vishal, who seems to have been impressed with the one line. With Dhanush busy with his Hollywood film and expected to shoot for his film with Karthick Narean next, looks like the shooting of the film with director Ramkumar, which was planned to kick start in June this year, will be pushed to later date. The yet-untitled film is a fantasy action-adventure so Ram Kumar is working on the visual effects and pre-production.
