Well, not really.
But the Giants held their first day of rookie minicamp at Quest Diagnostics Center on Friday and . it didn’t exactly bring the excitement of a training camp practice.
The Giants only had 22 players in attendance, including six draft picks, three undrafted rookie free agents, five tryout players and some holdover players on the roster eligible to participate in the camp.
There isn’t a whole lot to take away from a practice with more coaches than players, but there still are some things worth noting that transpired.

FAIRMONT â Gasoline is still flowing in West Virginia, despite the disruptions in southern states.
A cyberattack on Friday hit the Colonial Pipeline, which delivers about 45% of the fuel consumed on the East Coast. The attack caused a ripple of disruptions in southern states, leading to panic-buying and stations being bought out of their supplies.
âWhat youâre feeling is not a lack of supply or a supply issue. What we have is a transportation issue,â said Jeanette McGee, spokeswoman for the AAA auto club in an interview with the Associated Press. âThere is ample supply to fuel the United States for the summer, but what weâre having an issue with is getting it to those gas stations because the pipeline is down.â

Through the years, the New York Giants have done well finding quality undrafted free agents and turning them into key contributors to Super Bowl runs. Rich Seubert, Chase Blackburn and Victor Cruz fit this category, and players like Shaun O’Hara and Antonio Pierce were undrafted players from their original teams who signed in free agency to the Giants.
In recent memory, players like Nick Gates have proven to be vital, yet was glossed over in the 2018 draft. Valuable assets are discovered through undrafted free agency can significantly assist teams in forging a formidable and competitive roster. New York wasn’t very busy, so far, in undrafted free agency, but let’s give a brief overview of the three players the Giants did add to their 90-man-roster.
