Wyoming firefighters tout the use of smoke alarms after family escapes house fire Friday morning.
Firefighters said they arrived at the house in the 1200 block of Joosten Street Southwest just after midnight, April 30, 2021, and had reports that a family was inside the burning home.
They found three adults and two children had been alerted by smoke detectors in the home and had made it out safely.
The Wyoming Department of Public Safety and Grand Rapids Fire Department were at the home until 4 a.m. The cause of the fire was still being determined.
